The research project is implemented in cooperation with researchers and practitioners in the migration field coming from several Central and East European countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Slovenia, Croatia, and Republic of Moldova.
The main goals of this project are: the establishment and maintenance of a network of experts on migration and identity issues in East-Central Europe and the enhancement of cooperation between academics, civil society and the institutions involved in the management of migration phenomenon.

Setting up of a website aiming to maintain the collaboration between the participants of the international seminar and also to enlarge the network of experts with new members. The website disseminates a wide range of information concerning migration, studies and research materials of the experts' network, funding opportunities, etc.;
-
Publishing a biannual online review, Journal of Identity and Migration Studies, under the aegis of the Research Centre on Identity and Migration Studies (RCIMI) and the Faculty of Political Science and Communication Sciences, University of Oradea, Romania.
